since your new I will help you out. We get thousands of posts on mufflers and catbacks! your best bet would be to go to the forum list and than run a search for catback exhaust LX. This will help you greatly.

my advice is to get EX headers, then you can use any EX exhaust. also, searching for LX exhaust components is a HUGE pain since you cant search for two-letter terms. which means you hafta wade through all the EX exhaust threads to find anything compatible with an LX.

I converted to an EX exhaust when I did my turbo. On top of an EX header, You need an EX swaybar ($60). Then you also hvae to take care of the catalytic converter. You can either have a shop make you a custom straight pipe (then you don't need the swaybar).

Or you can get a hi flow resonator (HAHA) from Megan or something, or get a Hi flow cat from Random Tech (that's what I did). Then you just have to lengthen the O2 wires. But you do need an EX swaybar so the cat or resonator doesn't hit.

Woo hoo...Here we go again, covering "what exhaust should I get?" It's all personal preference. I have Magnaflow and it's perfect for my likings. Nice low tone and doesn't sound like a raped ape!! EX or LX any exhaust system will usually work. For the LX a downpipe just needs to be fabricated or you can hack your stock piping.

If you are using a cat or a resonator, you'll need THE ex swaybar. If you use custom straight piping to replace THE secondary section, you don't.

Wow...those poor new members! I can't even imagine how confused they'd be after reading this thread. I've been a member for a year, already took care of all my exhaust/header/mid-pipe/downpipe/catayltic converter/sway bar needs and I'm still confused!!! Just search and weed through all the garbage yourself.
