make sure when you put on your new brakes to check if your rotors need to be machined, if you slap on your new pads with out checking your rotors and you end up having to machine them, you can ruin your new pads so be sure to check that out.
Also if your doing it yourself check the slider pins on the caliper make sure they haven't seized up if they have take it out and lubricate them with a brake grease or they have actual brake slider pin grease at Crappy Tire.
Just a heads up...

the way i see it when i have to change pads or rotors i will fully service the brake system. its better to be safe then sorry
things that can happen if you don't service is
1. your caliper can seize up which is a bit expensive
2. your slider pins can seize up which furthermore can also ruin the caliper piston by seizing it.
3. over heating which means you gotta replace pads and rotors
things that can feel when you need to service/ replace
1. when applying brake at fast speed you feel vibration in the pedal
2. clicking noises coming from front end
3. metal touching metal (you should beable to figure out that one on your own)

hey smoked, do you run a shop? cause all im really worried about is having the calipers checked...i will buy aftermarket pads and if it comes time to machine the rotors i will think about replacing them of having someone else do it....
smoked, pls get back to me!

hey LIRO, for your calipers needing checkups you can't really tell until you go through a service checkup, and i'm just telling you before you put the pads on check the rotors before you slap them on, if you don't you might ruin the pads and have to buy new ones again, just trying to tell you that to save you money and hassles.
