I purchased some iridium plugs from Neuspeed before I installed my audio system. I'm running the best Monster Cable RCAs (401k i think) and i'm geting a **** load of engine noise in my component spkr. Has anyone else had this problem with performane plugs and if so what brand should I go with to eliminate the buzz? I know its not my ground/ or equipment due to heavy troubleshooting!
Are you running Amps? If so make sure the speaker wires going to the amps are run in a different location than your power wires to your amps. The noise is probably being caused by your alternater juicing out more power the higher you rev and interfering with your speakers. Its called wire noise. Same thing happens in houses where the phone lines are run next to the electrical wires. You will always have static. I had the same problem after getting my system installed at Car Toys... Had to rewire the whole damn thing myself. Hope this helps.

I'm running NGK Iridium plugs and a multi-amp system. I did almost all the install myself and it sounds awesome. Try running RCAs on one side and power on the other side of the car. You could also try grounding your deck better (connect black ground to a real chassis ground), or just try an engine ground wire kit. I've had no problems at all using this stuff.
^^^^ like what they said, check your cables. make sure the ground is touching metal not paint. is your system install correctly. i mean don't take the easy way out and run your audio wire right in the middle. my friend did that and had the same problem. too much distortion.
