what do you mean by unlock? is your phone locked as in the screen is locked and you want to be able to use it? All I can say is push the menu button and then the star key to unlock the phone.

each phone is programmed with software to work on just one phone network. different networks use different software. it'd be like trying to use a serial number to get a PC version of Photoshop to work on a Macintosh Computer...

the phones are encypted, like the news said about the cingular/AT&T merger, that cingular was going to have to get the encyption codes to allow the at&t phones work with their system
