Most of the shops charge retail, well unless if you find sales. If your starting out, I would recommend last year models cause you could find them really cheap...
Ya i'm going to mt high too. The conditions, eh... it WAS nice but its been getting so hot.. it'll probably be nice in the morn but probably by 1 it'll get slushy. and than by 3 it'll get icy. I'll most likely be on the bunny slopes cause all the ones going on saturday are begginners

Only skate shop I know of is Liberty Board Shop in Brea. Right down the street from your dads bakery. On Brea and Lambert, by that Shakeys or whatever its called now. That place is the best yo. Got everything.

watch out derrick, imma tackle your a$$ when i see you.. haha...
oh btw, if your just starting you should get the pass from ralphs for $34 and upgrade it to a begginners package for like $12. You get a lower mountain lift ticket, rental, and a 2 hour lesson. All for only $46. Normally i think its $55 or $75 if you get it all seperate. If your just starting, chances are your not going to goto the top so... atleast i wouldnt recommend it as you dont really learn much that way

ya true, the bunnyslope is a dodgefest with people sitting on their a$$ but the intermediate goes a little too fast to actually practice your carves... you dont have to goto the lift on the far right(snowflake), the middle one(coyote?) is still considered the bunnyslope. I went to the top(intermediate slopes) when i first started and I would get down the mountain doing heelside all the way but ya i didnt really learn much. Just learn to stop heelside, than toeside than start linking them. number 1 rule is, dont be scared... usually people fall because they feel they're going too fast and just fall as a way to stop.
