Iceman Intake. Buy it here.
Alright, I don't know if people actually found a site to buy this yet, but I did, and I'm posting. Last I read was that people wanted it, but didn't have anywhere to buy it. Now that you can buy it, I better see somebody writing a review on this sooon!!!

HOLY **** that thing is ugly! I don't care how many horses that thing could put on my car. I'd be embarassed to pop my hood.
well it looks really ugly, but it also looks plastic and therefore potentially better than AEM/Injen metal intake since it shouldn't heat up as much. i MIGHT consider it if anybody confirmed gains from it. o wait, nvm, its EX/HX only.

pretty old stuff.
wonder why iceman never really mass produce it. iceman's not really around these days anymore i guess.
and they had the regular black color one before.. wonder why they pick the gay colors above to show off the product.

see the problem with this is, no one lately has heard of iceman.
at one point it was more iceman versus aem.
iceman was considered the more expensive, and better produced intake back then. those pics they have are seriously crappy. if you check out the black version, it isn't so bad.
and its not just mere plastic that are used to construct those intake tubbings..
a member on the site used his car to help iceman R&D this intake about 2-3 years ago? but then I duno what happened after that, they never really gave an update after the prototype was shown on the site, and everyone liked it. cuz it was a better functioning SRI than the other ones on the market.
http://www.icemanmotorsports.com/index.html
for more info.
personally they really need to step up with the new time.. but I still consider them one of the few manufactures that put time and effort into making products that have plenty of function and possibly value.
btw gotta relocated the battery for this SRI, not sure if they ever produce a heatshield for it.. but it was suggested...
I was considering this intake, but the FIPK eventually came out. so yeah. same type of material for both intake.

and here's the tech spec. on the intake offer for our car. (man they really need to get better pictures)
Iceman Specs:
Horse Power Increase - 7.00%
Torque Increase - 8.00%
Fuel Savings - 1 to 2 Miles per Gallon
Installation Instructions - Included
Installation Time - 1 Hour
Ease of installation - Easy
Complete Bolt on - Yes
California Street Legal - Pending
CARB EO#- D 446, 446-1, 446-2
Water Ingestion problems - None
Oxygen Sensor Provisions - Yes
Cool Air System - No
heh. the 7% and 8% claim would put it to about: 7.7 wheel horsepower and 8.72 lbs.ft torque increase. thats a big claim.
even if its crank hp claim.. thats still a good 5 whp or so. *shrug*

theyd o make a black one, it's the last one on the bottom of the page. Anyways, if it proven to be better then all the rest, no doubt I would jump on it.

If you're buying an intake for the sound, then count on losing all your gas mpg. I have an SRI for the winter and I mash my pedal just so I can hear some of the o2 injestion. Soon, Im putting on the aem cai from better performance and a little less noise.
A CAI is not a major perofrmance mod...they all push about the same numbers, so why shouldn't people care about the looks of their intake...not to mention the fact that not everyone here is strictly looking to race...so are here for show too...

Overall the intake seems pretty cool b/c its plastic. I couldn't speak about performance gains. Out of all of the intakes I have seen I would think Volant would be the most productive. I haven't bought an intake b/c I dont think they're worth it. I just got the K&N Drop in Filter and it works fine for me
