Oil filter sizes?

Oil filter sizes?
Are there two oil filter sizes? The one I picked up from a Honda dealer today seemed smaller than the one I had already installed previously.
I'm assuming that the VTEC and non-VTEC 1.7L Civics would have the same oil filter.

Rep Power: 0 Yes, there are 2 different sizes. The larger one, 80mm, was used through 2001 and thereafter Honda switched to the current 65 mm size.
You can use either. Because one filter is bigger than the other Honda published a memo to dealers a couple of years ago saying that either filter can be used interchangably with the either. Bottom line: think nothing more of it.
