Ebay AEM pulleys=ripoff? NEED HELP!
so yeah, i bought some aem tru-power pulleys off ebay. it took the guy forever to ship and when they arrived on the instructions it says its for
1988-2001 honda/acura
1989-1994 mitsubishi eclipse turbo
2000 mitsubishi eclipse
so im like WTF!? and the guy wont refund my money or send me the right stuff, so i was wondering if this will work on a 2001 honda civic lx? dont want to have to sell this stuff then risk buying again if i can just use the ones i have now.

There's a chance that the pullies might work. Maybe the box was printed before the 01 Civic's came out but they still work anyway.
Or you could sue the seller for false representation if they don't work. If they don't work, email him again and ask him for a refund or you'll inform eBay and various other organizations and also tell him he'll be getting a letter from your lawyer. By selling items on eBay you agree that it is a legally binding contract, etc. It's all in the terms of agreement and stuff on eBay's site.

thats pretty gay. how did u pay for it? paypal?
file a complaint and say u never got it. cuz if u said its not what's described, they wont do anything.
well depending on the way he shipped it, (UPS? fedex? USPS?) if he can't provide proof for tracking, u can get ur money back.
if u use ur credit card to pay for it with paypal, just simply do a chargeback with ur credit card company.
why lose money over someone else's mistake? now u'll have to deal with selling it to someone for a lower price or whatever.

well if the box said 2001 honda/acura, I would imagine they should fit your car, look at the part number on the box and go to AEM's web site to answer your question, but from what I remember the pulley's are the same for most newer gen civics...
