Just got screwed ...
Bought some rims and found out that they were stolen 
, now the owner wants his rims back.. and of course I won't give it back, but he still got a case against me for buying stolen items ... anyways he's willing to settle it and give me his current rims(15"s rota slips) to trade in with his old advans .. but man... i'm about to just go ahead and take his 15s and call it even ... I have too many problems in my life right now and now another problem ? this is too much drama for yo momma ... I should've checked with him first before I bought the rims ... tsk tsk tsk ... oh well .. u win some u lose some .. !

Man I hope you dont lose those Advan rims those are hard to come by I hope the best of luck, My girl work in a law firm, this is what i got from her, Make sure the guy that claim that the rims is his have a Reciept of any kind for the rims, credit card charge, anything that is shown in paper, But it is wierd tho if i was you i would keep it and if not get all your money back from either guys. best of luck....

From Marcus's(guy who owns the rims) side for the story, he's cousin made up the story about him owing him any money. What happened was, when Marcus was out of the house, Mike called him and told him that their apt. was broken into and stole some stuff including Marcus's rims. Well they both went to the sheriff dept. and reported the burglary, the police report states that both Marcus and his cousin said that the rims were stolen. Well the whole time his cousin stole the rims from him, hide it and then sold them to me. I didn't know that these rims were stolen, but I knew that these were previously marcus's and I believed his cousin's story about Marcus owing him money.
Well we got it taken care of at the police station today and Marcus provided all the documents (receipts and a call to the shop) stating that these rims were his. Theres only a few set of 4X100 here in houston, probably one or two, but the owner of the shop were he bought it from said that those were marcus's rims, no doubt. But anyways the cops issued a warrant on marcus's cousin, so they can bring his *** to jail and I can get my money back. And Marcus was kind enough to let me roll on his rims for the time being, until I can get my money back and get some new rims.

its sad that it had to happen to me ... I just see it as a challenge in life .. i deal with it and get on with my life .. money is not important to me ... my family, my gf, my friends and my life is important to me ... thats why when i sell stuff to most of my friends i'm willing to lose almost everything, so that they would know that I wouldn't **** them over or try to lowball them... I guess i'm just too kind ... if this was me 5-6 yrs ago .. I would've raised hell and shot someone, but i'm getting old .. I don't need to be into that .. !

Rep Power: 0 Yeah man, and i was careful as **** too, even demanding court documents saying the rims were mike's ... but i doubt that i'll get my money .. court is expensive.. but i'll give my best to give him hell !
um I didn't read all those long posts...lol but from what I read according to law u can keep the rims you bought off of that guy, even though the owner said the rims u bought were his rims, because unless he has his vehicle's VIN number inscribed in the rims or wrote his name in it, he can't really say it's his...where's his proof? There's none if I can assume, but u have the proof of a reciept.

Rep Power: 0 man i just got through readin this. that really sucks ***. i hope things go good. i was readin on houston-imports in the bad sellers post, and one guy bought an integra from this guy and the guy didn't have the paperwork for it so that the owners would switch and that night the guy came and stole the car back, and in a private message that guy wrote him saying haha you can't prove anything.
