It will fit an ex but you have to have a muffler shop cut off part of it and weld it onto your cat... i'm pretty sure but if someone knows more then me... please feel free to correct me.

If the HX is similar to the LX and DX then yes.... but if i remember correctly... the HX setup is similar to the EX where it has a shorty header and a downpipe with a cat converter under the car... some1 correct me if i'm wrong... so if yours is like that, you have to cut it and have it welded...
It either sounds like you paid hella lot of money for it, or you just want all your money back on it. Sorry to say bud when you resell something you lose at least 10% on it....that 400 offer seemed pretty decent.
I woulda bought it for 400+shipping, your loss I guess. You just get to hold on to a piece of metal that obviously is of no use to you.

well, it's probably of use to him...he is a college student in need of some quick cash. But you're right...you may lose 100 bucks in the process...but if I were you, I would hold onto it...I heard that DC Sports was purchased by AEM Performance and AEM discontinued the DX/LX TCS catback model because there was not enough of a market demand.
What does this mean for those of us with LXs/DXs?
Either we will seek other alternatives for exhaust or we will want the TCS really, really, badly; maybe even more than we normally would This situation may result in a price increase and an increase in the amount of people who are willing to spend a few dollars on an exhaust that fits...ie yours.
Of course we could always buy the TCS/EX but we have to cut and weld...extra fees if we don't have the equipment and experience to do it ourselves. If I was you, I would hold onto your exhaust, keep it new and sell it in a month or two. You may get more response then.
Its just my opinion, but I hope this helped.

i dont mind losing money on it if i actually got to use it but it is just sitting there... i heard DC discontinued these also and was thinking about holding onto it but ppl on this forum will always throw out the same offers regardless if its discon or not. So i'll prob just put it on my car... thx a lot for the advice ershall. I'd rather pay for something and use it then buy it, not use it and lose $ .. thats what i think.

yeah that'll work as well...if TCS was what I was looking for (I've got a DX) then I'd be willing to pay price for it if I couldn't get it anywhere else....but I want an EVO catback. Have you heard the TCS in action? it sounds hott!
