Question How do OEM "style" spoilers compare to the real thing?

Anyone ever look the oem "style" spoilers spoiler depote sells all over ebay with a JDM spoiler? How do they compare?

Also, does it look strange to have the led lights on the spoiler AND the brake lights in the rear window? Imagining it seems really busy.

I have a buddy who got his spoiler from spoiler depot, it was pretty much exactly like the stock one. He had a 00 prelude, and the paint was off by like 1 shade, you really couldn't tell unless you went into photoshop and compared the pixel by pixel colors. Anyway, I think it's fine getting a spoiler from there. As for the business of having the spoiler led + the rear window led... well, pretty much every 7th gen with a spoiler has both, so you'd be no different than the others and till now no one i know has complained of any business (busy-ness) out of them.

Nah, the lights on both the rear window and on the spoiler doesn't make your car look weird. Who cares? I don't care. But hey the more brake lights the better people can see you are braking.

when you or whoever installs the spoiler, just disconnect the window light...its looks much cleaner without that one!

Thats how it works with the OEM replicas as well. I got mine from SpoilerDepot and I love the quality. The paint job matches verry well with that of the car.
