Dh-Racing Bult D17 Shortblock
Hey everyone I am going to have a D17 Shortblock here very soon built for your needs. I'm taking offers on it right now, but I will be doing the NA shortblock for around $2000, and the turbo built shortblock for around $3000. Boosted block will be good for 20 PSI For sure, and the NA Block will be 11:1+ compression. Both block will be freshly decked, hot tanked, balanced and blueprinted. Let me know everyone. Here is a pic of the SOHC Block we did prior.

With our ported head the motor should produce around 160 at the wheels, but hard to say on just the block we haven't dyno'd one of these quite yet. I expect to see around the same as a SOHC D16.

They come with stock rods, being the D17 rods will probably hold 300 Hp no problem. 12:1 in the street reliable limit for compression, so no worries everyone on problems. On the turbo block it would come with probably Eagle Rods, and JE Forged Pistons, and on the NA block it would come with our Spec Hardened Pistons. Let me know everyone. Thanks again

Green Demon looks pretty sick. Have to say. The boosted motor will put down anything you will. Easily holding 20 PSI, so figure Mike from SF put down 13.6 on what 9 PSI, so you could easily smack 11's with this motor, and push well over 300 at the wheels. Probably up on 400 HP if you have the right bolts ons ect...

damnit, I was hell bent on a k20a, but now I might switch up and do a race prepped n/a d17....with the 11:1 comp. will it hold a squeeze? cause I like to spray...hehehe... and are you going to go into doing fuel modifications or are we to seek other help on that one. Just wondering cause Ive heard only good things from DH and I'd like to stick with one company...

We can do it all, and yeah it will hold some nos if you like it. I would go with the turbo built motor on that one being it will have the rods, and pistons to handle a beefy shot of nitrous.
