Any particular tips before I install my rear Progress sway bar onto my civic EX?
Hey guys,
Im wondering if there are any particular tips I should know about before I drive to my Honda service this Friday to install a rear Progress sway bar onto my 02 civic ex. The reason Im asking is because I read that Grey had a bolt come loose on his lx civic. He upgraded the bolts to fix that problem. How about the EX? Any known problems with fitment, ect. Oh and I did do a search, there are just alot of posts on how to install the bar but nothing on the aftermath of the installation. Thanks.

I can give you a tip about afterwards......
Take it easy at first, depending on what else you have done, the *** end may want to come around on you when you least expect it. Learn to use it slowly, and eventually you'll beable to steer the car with the rear end....

it is a prettty straight forward install. My only tip would be, before you take out the big trailing arm bolt. Support the trailing arm with a floor jack, no pressure just support it so it won't move. This will make the install a breeze
only problem, if u have grey's endlinks, then you might have to extend them to get them as square as possible. if u are gonna use the stock endlinks, then i dunno...
good luck man!

don't use the bolts that the kit comes with to bolt on the extra support
frame to the subframe
the bolts are crap, they may snap on u like it did no me when it was only half way in
