honda specific optima is available
they showed it at CES, its a smaller battery (the yellow top) than the original, and its meant to fit our hondas. i dont know about pricing, and if they are shipping, but optima made one, and if the price is right, i might get one (on top of the gazillion other things i want).
just thought i'd share the news.

why does everyone consider it so important to get a replacement battery that fits in our batterybox? that thing is ugly anyways.
Its not gonna be that difficult to fit in a larger battery! even using the stock ssytem, just ditch the box around the battery and use the stock mount and platform, something slightly larger would still be no modification to fit!
not to mention that the case to the optima looks alot better than the stock housing around the battery...

i just thought that somebody would care, and i always assumed that it was difficult to get an optima to fit.

yeah, they've been out for a while. none of the parts stores here can get them though, so im gonna have to order one. i found them a while back for 79.99 plus 15 shipping, so they were like 95 total. bad thing is, i didn't save the site, so if someone knows, or can find where that is, i'd appreciate it.
Its a celebration bitches!

i got mine for 105 shipped but that was like a month ago, well i got it and my light seem to be brighter... its really nice being able to idle at a red light and not have ur car dim or radio reset because of such low amounts of poower going to ur car, and haveing to rev just so you can listen to ur radio due to a bad stock battery
anyways, its really nice, timem to put system back in...
