why is everyone so against sony products. everyone gives me **** for buying a sony amp, and everyone with sony products in ther profile get bad rating.

i recignize that there **** is way over rated, like my 800W sub probebly puches 200 max. its not that loud considering i have a 800W rockford sub. but for the price i paid (200) its not that bad of a deal.

What does everyone have against sony ?

Why bother w/ it when you can get something way better for the same price.

I got my Alpine M350 (700 watts x 1) for $200, shipped, from and authorized dealer, and w/ full warranty. Go on ebay and its even cheaper.

JBL 600.1 is $200
Kicker 400.1 is $170
MTX 421D is $180
Alpine M350 is $160

etc ....

no matter what you get, people are gonna bash it, so the real question is why should you care what we think? you didnt buy it trying to impress us, you (should have and probably did) bought it for you.

screw the opinions of these guys when it comes to equipment choice, if there was something everyone agreed was good, then everyone would buy that.

there are even people who hate the w7 or TRU tech, blows me away! but if thats the way they wanna think, more power to em. i cant hear their inane babble from my house.

if you traded the civic for a kia, we'd be ragging on you too. even if you told us you were happier with the kia, we'd say you were a knucklehead. can't make everyone happy so don't try. it's an overpriced amp, but if you tried to sell it and get another one, you'd probably overpay. so keep it till it dies or you want a change.

i thought sony stuff sucked just from what ppl said and my buddy had a shitty headunit from them and i had a shitty old school that came in my prelude, but i just put some 3 way 6x9 in my rear deck saturday night cause my buddy had some laying around and gave them to me for 25 bucks. they are decent speakers. hit the highs and mids real well.

i personally don't like it. i feel they are overpriced, and that they underpeform for what you pay. i wouldn't take any if it were free, and wouldn't try to sell it to anyone, cause i know the issues i've had with their products. its a matter of personal choice. some people may not like some of the stuff i have, but its what i chose, and spent my money on, and its what i felt suited my wants/needs best. so while i may not like sony, you might, do what makes you happy, and is affordable to you.

the first subwoofers i ever bought ever were a pair of xplod 10's that I bought five years ago.

I have 2 xplode amps one 380RMS into a 12" aluminum Xplode sub in a bandpass box (amp just replaced by blaupunkt class T amp) and a sony xplod amp pushing 125RMS into my 2 front stock speakers.My system sounds awesome and my bass is crazy with the bandpass box,and even though people say sony amps blow all the time i always max them out and have been cranking them for over a year and a half and still no problems and sounds great......who gives a sht what other people say,if it sounds good to you then its good enough!
