double din
it might have bolts at the same points in the stock kit. you might be able to carve out an aftermarket piece to fit. if you have to, you can slice off the entire face, trim the inside, and glue it in place. we use ABS at teh shop, i dont think that would work in this situation, but as long as the cd pocket is small enough, that would work perfectly
i dont beleive a kit was ever made though. ask some of the other guys here though, they stuffed two different radios in that slot, so they cna tell you what they did, then copy it, only use yoru radio rather than a couple din units

At CES I ran into the Metra kit and phisically seen their double din kit but it is designed for two units not one single double din unit. but you can probably modify the kit.

ooops sorry ... CES is the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas (huge, HUGE, every year).
All the gadget suppliers show their new stuff. Anyway the Metra booth displayed this
new dashkit, told me it would be shipping very soon.

I just took out the pocket and the kenwood fit right in. the only thing is that red area on the picture. i just need a cover for it. like the top one. but otherwise it fits fine. screws straight to the metal bracket.

Whoa... thats pimp.. i think i'll leave it like that for a while

one of those?
you cant buy those, you gotta make it
either like the stock interior, or just smooth. now i havent meassured up the headunit yet, but it looks kinda shallow. will a headunit fit down there without sticking out too far? and are you able to make something that will secure the headunit so it does shake around? made put in a metal bracket or whatnot? if you can accomplish all these things and it looks good, and my Pioneer DVH-P5000MP player fits in well i think i would be willing to pay $40-50 for it. let me know!

.... this one?? ...
