If that's the one with the guy jumping on it, I heard it doesn't matter because in an accident force is being applied from the front of the hood to the back, not from the top down.

Nah thats not what they are trying to show. Cheap hoods you can buy for 300 bucks are cheap for a reason...if you jumped on a cheap hood it would crack Easily....Their hood would not even scratch.
Thats their point...its not gonna crack
Notice the underside of the hood when they lift it up. It doesnt have the underskeleton like it should, If it did, the underskeleton would have cracked. All carbon fiber is flexible like that, doesnt matter who makes it.
Good call tunedincivic, also when you are on the fiber images website the picture of the integra that was totaled (yellow) has a cf hood on it but it looks like someone imposed it on the car with photoshop or maybe they put the hood on after the accident. I don't care what anyone says, after that kind of impact that hood would be @*$%ed up!!!! Fiber images doesn't even need dumb adds like that, there product is very good to begin with!!!!!

Ummm guys.. have you considered SAFETY FACTOR??
Hoods are designed to CRUMBLE during an accident, and dissapate the energey to the rest of the car's body........ if this super-strong hood gets PUSHED BACK INTO THE CAR, what do you think will happen to your neck?

ok i got in a front end with my stock hood on the freeway. the stock hood tore free of its hinges and shot through the window, stopping about 18 inches from my neck.
i just got into an accident with the Fiber Images hood. Fender, door, front bumper, headlight all fcuked up. the hood is flawless as the day i bought it. i love my hood more than anything else on my car.
