i seen this header on e-bay.. actually look to the left and it's there.. a header for a 2001+ civic LX. anyway, it's make by ssautochorme and talking about 15hp.. is this any good. cause i seen on other topics that on the lx the catalyiac converter is bascily inside the header.. so whats' the deal with this header??

hey cdmx... would this fit with a dc catback for the lx? and did you have holes for all the 02 sensors?

wait this is weird.

how come its coming with a downpipe.

the LX/DX wouldn't need it.. maybe the HX.

that's pretty much the kamikaze header for LX (and if u can get it for that price, thats a steal)

but I still dont get why they need the downpipe... and it doesn't even seem like it bends right. hmmmm.

alright the bend is fine i guess. I just took a look at the LX's mid pipe's bend..

but still. why would you need that..

I think its for HX applications:



the downpipe provided seems like it'll mate up with the HX's 2nd cat convertor.. but it seems to be a bit short though.

could just be the diagram.

LX/DX users shouldn't need the downpipe provided.

hmm...looks like a decent header, so cdmx, since you have it there are good gains? Ive heard nothing but good stuff about kamikaze and was thinking about getting that header, or just getting HP racing stuff and doing an EX swap..

First he says ebay header....they are all the same on ebay......-top speed, ss autochrome, megan, my generic header....all the same
They are all coming from the same place.
I have an ebay header, and yes the welds were slightly messy i cleaned it up and my header is fine. i plan on buying a downpipe or a bolt on converter soon.

no you will lose the cat convertor.. if you have the HX, and it seems the downpipe is for HX, you'll lose your 2nd cat convertor. heh.

and you will need o2 sensor.

well this one is a bit different.. its for a different model and it includes a downpipe that I still can't figure out what its for..

although the top looks exactly like kamikaze's application.. so I'm thinking its a good deal.

so when i get this pipe.. ultimetly taking out my cataliac converty, and installing an o2 sensor, will this have any ill effect on the car, as far as running good.. or will it all go to hell..
