Question Wiring for rear speakers

So I bought some Eclipse 6x9's and they fit, barely. But I havn't done all them much DIY audio install and I cut the wires for one of the speaker connections. Now I found an adapter from Crutchfield that would have made the connection using the original wiring stock. So like an idiot i'm right now, wondering if I f*cked things up or is everything workable? Help me out guys. I hope this is less of an issue than i think. Is there anyway of going back? I 'm thinkn no.

-thanks

If you haven't cut them too short, you can use a butt connector to put the factory connector back. If not, you can just buy some female spade connectors that fit the eclipse speakers and just crimp or solder them on. There is no worry, you haven't done any damage.

Put one wire in one end and the other in the other end, then crimp.

Yes they work, you can do it a lot easier by buying female spades at your local auto store and connecting them to the wire that is still in the car, again, just crimp and go. Are you worried about connecting the right sides? Don't waste time and money on getting those crutchfield connectors, they are supposed to be so that you don't have to cut the wire, but you already have, so what's the harm?
