I need pictures of any mounted LCD screens PLEASE
Ok i know plenty of you out there have some LCD screen mounted in front of the pass side. I already have a Pioneer indash, but now i got the AVD-W6000 6.5 screen to mount somewhere in the pass side dash. Any pictures PLEASE. I plan on putting in flush inbetween the air bag and the glove box. Thanks for your time.

here is for the driver side for a 6th gen anyway.
If you do get it in the dash on the pass side post pics I would really like to see it.

i'd check with ur state laws about that.....cops are real **** about that stuff and i heard that it is a major fine for having tv's visible to the driver and it is kinda hard to hide it, unless u make some kind of cover for it.

^^ yeah, i watch movies all time in my car, but mine is a in-dash player. I got pulled over and just pushed the button to fold it away. Kinda hard to do that when it is mounted in ur dash.
Im not worried about cops at all, they pull me over no matter what. I already have a pioneer indash, so i dont have much to lose. But still lookin for some install pictures please
try PMing Ludlamtheory, his dash is at this moment totally out of his car, so he would be able to tell you if there is even space.
realistically, yoru in for a heck of a project! it will require revinyling that dash piece to look seamless, or i suppose you could paint it.
either way, its a heck of a project! doublecheck with lud to make sure theres space to hold it!

I think you can make something just as cool with your existing dash. Mine is a complete work in progress but I think I'm going to have the Alpine logo routered out of the plexi and light it from behind. I think I'll change the color though as it's currently NBP.

didnt get a pm, but i just read this thread...
but, yeah, theres space, but removing the dash requires some SERIOUS work my friend. shop could charge you silly dollars, and you alone doing it would be in for a few days of work time.

I am having the same problem, I have a six and a half in. screen that i'm trying to figure out where to place......i've seen them down in place of the cupholders...but the only problem with that is my car being stick it might pose a problem being in either third or fifth gear......which isnt soemthing i can change......so i was wondering where else one could mount it?

Put it right where all the controls are (like A/C, radio, etc). Who was it here that did this (he's a MOD....).. It was all custom work, but it looked nice as hell.
wouldn't that mean that i would have to custom make a new dash to fit the screen? Because i saw a screen that was ressessed in the dash but it took the place of the whole dash.......and i dont really want to have to fabricate anything for it.....

I'll show you where I mounted my 6.5" screen later tonight.

One of my first post's ever was about putting a box in the car. I would love to market some form of engine management system to plug into everyones RCA inputs on their screens. I have an IVA D900 and I'm going to pull mass storage off somehow.
