Applying Body Decal, how to around door handle etc

I just got my body decal, how so i get it so it can go over top of the gas cover and the door handle and so it doesnt look like ****. Some people use windex so they can slide it around before it dries. is this reccomended, i want it to look good so anyone who has installed one, please let me know, its a stripe kind that will go over top of the gas cover and possibly the door handle
thanks in advance

when i was putting my windshield sticker on i took pured a lot of wate rinto a bucked, added a good amount of dawg liquid soap until the water was slippery and really bubbly and then used a sponge to apply it to where the stick was going too.

i wetted up the spot that was going to be covered with the sticker, and i mean put A LOT of the soapy water on. then apply the sticker, move it around until it sicks correctly and use something to push all the water from beneth the sticker out

for the cutting i would SUGGEST that u put the decal on 1rst with everything closed and then just cut through it with a razor blade. then when u have all the lines cut out so the doors and gas tank can open just trim it up

Where did u get the decal? Off a site? Are u pleased with it? I am thinking about possibly putting one on my car as well.....but i am weary of the install. I am too worried about getting the decal on and making sure it looks straight.

its better if you find someone who knows how to apply the decal. its not going to come out right unless you know what your doing. as for door handles, you don't cut them, you us a heat gun to mold the graphic into door handle groove. pm if your going to attempt to do it. i can help you out with some pointers
