actually, i just stumbled upon a set of REALLY nice components that are selling for real cheap.
go on sounddomain.com and look up the DEI viper component set. comes in a 5.25 and a 6.75
i believe thayre 119 and 139 respectively, but theyre 400 dollar speakers.
they were designed by the same guy that designed jl xr's and a lot of the mb quart sets
as for an amp, that leaves you with 150+ dollars to spend on that, so you could get a half decent amp

sounddomain's been having crazy discounts on DEI... wow 139 for the 650.2s is a steal! if you're willing to go a little over your budget i'd recommend getting the DEI Viper 400.2 ($169.99 on sounddomain.com). those two should match up quite well since the amp delivers the components rms power.

Cool thanks for the advice but I still don't know which one to choose since there are three different suggestions. I actually have $400 but I figured it would atleast take $100 to install? I am having a friend of my cousin install it but haven't got a price quote just yet.
wiring can (and probably will) cost more than 10... depending on what you want to get. if you do a really good job on installing the wires to get rid of any type of noise, then you could just settle for cheap wires. otherwise try getting some cables that'll cost more but are built to reduce noise
So, if you're going to use your stock reciever and don't have too much money I would say go with pioneer 2 or 3-way speakers. Pioneer makes nice speakers for the price. I looked at sony and kenwood for mine and didn't like the sound quality as much. As for 2 vs. 3 way, I have 2 way and a friend of mine has 3 way. I haven't noticed that much quality difference, so if you're a little short on money I would say 2 way. 4 way are a waste of money...don't even look at them.

As for an amp in your left over price range, I would reccomend the Kenwood KAC-749S amp.

I know the website says 200-250, but I was looking on the web the other day and I found it for 150-160, so you should be fine. I have this amp and am quite satisfied with it. Since you're only powering your speakers and not a sub, it's more than sufficient. Runs quiet and is just the right power for my speakers.
The best way to save money on install is to do it yourself. It's not difficult, though you may want a little help getting to the receiver...It was a bitch to get off...for me. Also, I didn't buy an amp wiring kit. I used 6 guage wire I bought from Home Depot. 21 feet for 8 bucks...good deal. Then I bought RCA cables from Best Buy. Since its a stock headunit remember to get line out --> RCA converter (20 bucks). Then audio cable to run back to the headunit is cheap.
Well, good luck...hoped this helped.
PS: If you do it yourself, make sure you find a wiring guide
