Another Pioneer Deck Problem
when i try putting in a cd in my pioneer deh-p7300, sometimes as the cd just goes in the slot all the way...it makes a skipping kind of noise, like a "dug...dug...dug...dug...dug...dug..."
its hard to explain, like a motor that is pulling the cd into the slot, and the cd jams againest something, and the motor is skipping on and off the cd...like when u peel out in the rain, when the car kinda hops really quickly
anyone have any suggestions or reasons
ive had the deck for almost 2 years now...it has worked perfecly up til about a month ago when this started happening...and its getting worse and worse
there isn't a pattern to it either...and no, im not ramming the cds in there
and of couse since its been 2 years, my warrenty is long gone

i suggest cleaning your cd lense with a wet brush system. also the quality of your CR-R and CD-RW will affect the play quality. especially CD-RW, they play shitty in cdplayers.

its probably the cd loading mechanism, i've seen that problem on a lot of cd players, my dads stock cd player in his maxima just did that.
does it make any funny sounds when you try to eject the cd? will the cd play?
i think eventually (probably pretty soon) the cd loading mech. will go out on you, so i suggest you only listen to cd's you dont care for much
i would look into another cd player.
