I've got Goldlines and I love them. Now that I look back, I probably should have gone with either the Tein S or the Neuspeed Sports. I'm sitting just a tad too low now that the springs have settled and I blew my shocks.

this is very hard to compare as they all drop different. some like a mild drop, some like it slammed. it all depends. i think its best to put it in categories...
h&r vs. prokit vs tein s
sportlines vs goldline vs neuspeed sports vs progress
neuspeed race vs skunk2
i personally prefer neuspeeds. goldlines are way too soft, sportlines are too damn expensive and are kinda soft. progress the drop is ugly. sports are just perfect.
i also like the slammed look and race is the better out of skunk2. its kinda rough with stock shocks but thats why anything lower than 2" is recommended you have aftermarket shocks.
as for the first category, eh i say why even bother lowering the car when you cant even tell its lowered...

I had a set of neuspeed race springs on my old SI and they were awesome. The ride was a little worse than stock, but it handled great. The only bad thing was because of it being a large drop(2.5 settled) you had a bigger chance of bottoming out the struts on big bumps and potholes in the road. You could always cut the bump stops to allow the strut to travel further to help with the bottoming out, but I did not due to it making it easier to blow your struts. But it all depends on how big of a drop you want. I would buy neuspeed race springs again.

yes if you get race i recommend you cut the front ones about halfway. i know it doesnt say it in the instructions but you'll bottom out alot if you dont...

Add H&R to that list. 1.5" drop. Rides kinda like stock but lower and a lil stiffer. Helped my handling a lot. They're german too, ISO certified springs. I ran 'em with stock struts for about a year with no problems.

I have Eibach Sportlines and they work great. They give me a lowered look and still allows me to get over speeds bumps and keep the front within camber spec. Good for daily driving to.
