I took my seats out yesterday to put on seat covers. When I took them out of course I unclipped all the connections under the seat. When I put the seats back in I clipped everything together again, but now my SRS light stays on and I can not get it to go off? What can I do?

that happened to me when i had my speakers installed. in my situation, the guy that did it took the seats out, but turned on the car, which messed up the sensors (and something to do w/the airbags). i had to take it to the honda dealership for them to fix it. it was under warranty and didnt charge me anything.

Yeah it is kinda weird that even though you plug everything back in it would still throw that code. Do you have any idea what they did? I have heard that you can unhook the negative cable on the battery and get it to reset? Thanks
Go check out the DIY. This happened to me and was able to fix it myself. Its not hard at all. I used the paperclip method and got it on the first try.

It won't blow the bulb. You take the SRS (yellow) plug out from under the dash and take a paper clip (or anything metal to connect the plug ends together (your "jumping" the leads)) Then turn the ignition on the light will stay on for 6 seconds and go out, within 4 sec. dissconnect the jumped leads (the light will go on again) and within another 4 seconds jump it again and it will go out and stay out. Turn off the car, plug the yellow plug back in and voila. No burnt bulb, no drama, just pure victory.
ha ha take it to the dealership
why dont you search you will find SO many threads on this topic....he says ibtl because this has been discussed MANY times
I used a freakin paperclip to turn off my srs light. its very easy...dont pm me and ask me how cause its been posted how just instead of the "srs plug" use a paperclip (read the DIY)
