I'm pissed! I came home from hanging out w/my bf and parked it outside of my driveway yesterday. Wake up for work today, walked to my car, took a double look and was like WTF HAPPENED HERE !!! Someone hit my cars bumper and ran off. The funny thing is that I nor anyone in my house heard it and I don't have an alarm. If ANYONE has a STOCK alarm for sale, please email me: megagirl500@yahoo.com PLEASE!! If ANYONE has a STOCK bumper for sale (2003 CIVIC EX BLK), please email me. Insurance won't cover anything 500 or under. So im pretty screwed paying for this jerk offs mistake.

actually, the civics dont really have an "alarm." all it does is locks and unlocks the doors, and when you're scared, you can push the "PANIC" button. if anyone hits your car it wont go off.
if you want a stock bumper, lots of people are selling them on the 'For Sale' fourm.

BIG QUESTION: Are the 2001 bumpers slightly different or exactly the same as a 2003 ex civic? I am having difficulty seening similarity! I think the 03' bumper is alot wider in length. I am looking at a bumper from Ebay and i'm not sure if there is a difference (01' civic) I want to show you'z the pics of my car but its raining so i couldn't take one. I might be able to pop it out but its cracked from my rear hit before (someone hit me [another HONDA!]) a while ago but it wasn't bad, just a minor crack.

I'm almost positive the body style for 01-03 didn't change. If you want to be sure, go ask the dealer to look up the part numbers to see if they're the same.

i saw this happen once..here in cincy. it was late, and the car in front of us (me and my girl) slowly drifted to the side and WHAM hit the car in front. clipped 'em. at first i stopped and was like, "are they gonna stop" but they kept going!. so i took off up the hill after them to get the plate. They turned at the stop sign, and then stopped, and i saw someone get out of the car. well it was like 2 am, and we were so freaked out, so i turned left and took off hahah. i choked...didnt want some guy to shoot me all like "you didnt see nothin!!" so we circled around and went back, and the guy had left. sucks...

It's been a couple of days and i am pricing different auto shops prices. First one was $590, second one was $509, third was $500 even. Im so devistated. My car looks like crap! I havent really had time to put a pic up w/work and all. It's an 03' and i dont want it to look like crap already . I guess I am gonna save up and get it done. See the paint cost dough too b/c it has a blue metalic to it. This sucks man! & it was a red car that hit into me b/c u can see the paint. Thank god my GReddy didn't get hit or my inside. I was thinking of the whole body kit thing since i am paying to get a bumper but I want to trade it in after 4 years. I don't know what to do but just wait after Xmas
