I need to buy the OEM or K&N air filter! Need advices
I'm in need of changing the air filter since it's been 3 years already. I tried to find the K&N ones so I could just wash it all the time but there doesn't seem to have one for our OEM intake? If anyone knows where to get the K&N or OEM ones for a decent price please let me know. I found $19.00 plus shipping for "2" of the OEM ones from www.handaaccessories.com but just want to know if there is a better one. Thanks a lot.

get the K&N one... much better air flow... will increase hp (a tiny bit) and help with gas milage...
and it'll be the last air filter you will ever buy for your car cuz all you'll need is to recharge it with the K&N recharger kit which is only like $10....

Hey buddies I just got it brand new for $39 today from AJUSA today. I called them and they said instead of shipping why not just coming to pick them up since I live 10 minutes from them!=) When I got there I was like whata.... They are selling all kinds of great cars like Porsche, NSX, and Corvette as well...Anyway, Just had it installed and I'm going to FEEL it by tomorrow!!! So can anyone explain how to wash them or clean them with teh recharger kit? I heard that you can just wash it sometimes if it gets dirty... Thanks again MIT and everyone!

no you can't jus wash it because once you run water through it, you need to re-oil it or else microscopic dirt will go through the filter with ease...
just buy the recharger kit, there is instructions included...
if you don't have a recharger kit, you can just brush the loose dirt off lightly the reinstall it (you don't wanna lodge the dirt into the filter)
the recharger kit comes with 2 sprays: the cleaner and the oil...
you spray the cleaner, let it sit.. run low pressure water from the clean side through to the dirty side... then do it again if its still dirty... then let it dry... then spray oil... let it dry and your done
