How dark can I tint my two front windows here without gettin harrassed by the police. I come from the L.A. area and cops are ****** when it comes to tint. I was told that any tint in the front is illegal over there. Is it the same here? I want to get a darker shade of tint (not limo) before the summer. I see the Snottsdale PD patrol cars with freakin limo tint but I know that they probably have that "do as I say, not as I do" attitude. Any ideas to share?

Well 32% on the front windows is the law in AZ but I had 22% on the windows and never got hassled. Then I got 6% limo on the front doors and still never had any problems so I say 22% would work fine but still some cops will nail ya on rare occasions but most of the dealers said if you get nailed with a fix it ticket come on down and I will sign that I took it off and send ya back without having to remove it :-)

If you need a couple of dealers that do good work I could refer a couple but they are around like 12th st and camelback or one of them is like 7th and Indian school he does mostly detail work but he has a private tinter that did my Limo and it looked excellent hell of a job.

Thanks for the info Nick. Can you give me the info for the person at Indian School and 7th? I hope that hes the kind of dealer that will sign your fix-it ticket like you mentioned. Also, I see that you have a pretty dark tint, do you often get pulled over? Thanks again....

HEHE yep yep they did my 32% tint first time around then my 22% then had another guy do my limo but yep thats a good shop they have done 3 vehicles for me :-)

I think I paid about $200 for good mylar tint...lifetime warrantly against bubbles, cracking, and discoloration

I paid 85 for the normal windows and 50 for the front window. Its all in who ya know.
