I got laid off! The company I worked for is downsizing so as of Nov. 14 I was laid off. But its all working out for the best I'm going to be starting cosmetology school. But its still sad i was with the company for 2yrs.

Rep Power: 302 Sorry to hear about that but at least if you got laid off you can get unemployeement like my sister did when she got laid off just until you find a new job though. Hope you find a new job.

Rep Power: 368 I just got laid off too! Nov 17 was the official date, although I stopped going since like beginning of the month.
in my case, its pretty cool.. cuz I get like 3 paychecks and I dont even have to go to work...
I was getting sick of the job.
its just too bad cuz I was starting to get to know people better.. make some more friends and crap.
and u do miss it cuz u got use to it? *shrug* I think i know how u feel.
