I don't know how meets get started nor have I ever been to any meets before.

I recently saw an article on the auto superstore AUTOBACSUSA.com. There is only one store of its kind open in the US, near LA, CA. It looks awesome!!!

I am planning to take a road trip out there just to see what it's all about. Before I do, maybe a meet can be organized and it can be a group road trip?

Would anyone be interested?

Some of us are planning on going to the SoCal meet on December 6th...should be over 40 cars there.

What are the dates of your thing?

I didn't have a date. I didn't even have an event planned. It was more of a suggestion.

I don't know what normally occur at these meets.

Maybe the meet on Dec 6th can incorporate a trip to the auto superstore Autobacs? I believe I read the meet will occur in Southern CA, maybe you can suggest it as something to do?

Or if anyone wants to take a trip before then....

They kinda laid it all out as to whats gonna happen during the meet...meet/greet, pictures, cruising, eating/drinking, etc...

It looks pretty cool. IT IS the super walmart for cars!

It has everything imaginable. They carry multitudes of brands, to name a few: tanabe, tein, apexi, neuspeed, eibach, many more.....

They also stock the items as apposed to ordering the products with a 1-2 weeks wait.

They stock coilovers, intakes, and anything else you could probably want for your car.

They also have a shop to take care of any of your needs on the parts you just purchased.

I guess you just have to read the articles on the shop to understand the excitement. The shop is featured in many tuner magazines.

It's not a Checker autoparts, Autozone, Pepboys.....



Don't know how prices are though.....I wanted to do my suspension, but I was reading the DIY thread about the Koni yellow shock install and it sounds real tough. I'm not too car savvy. Thought I would get my suspension done at a shop like this one.

Look at the SoCal meet link and get the address of the places we'll be going and then get the address from the new shop and get on MapQuest and find directions.

Maybe they're not far from each other.

okay, swung by Autobacs this last weekend while I was out in Chino Hills. All I can say is we NEED one of these here! Damn. Everything and anything you could imagine for mods!
