I'll organize it...its been a while but I think I can handle it.

Can everyone else make a meet on December 6, 2003? Thats the first Saturday of December.

Whats the deal with the speedway thing Zaid? Lemme know and I'll get this thing together.

If I am still here, I should be able to be down for it. I have to stay in AZ a lot longer than anticipated now for I blew my mom's car engine this past Monday. And, I am of course going to stay in AZ to take care of this for her since I unintentionally did it. AGHHHHHHHHHH, what a giant not so good pain in my ***! But, oh well, such is life!

How did you manage to blow the engine unintentionally?

I was driving home from Phoenix last Monday morning and the car started to overheat. I then pulled off of the nearest exit from I-10 and followed proper overheating procedure. LOL, but, I did damn it! The car cooled and I took off and immediately noticed soemthing was not right with the engine at all. I pulled over again and had it towed. The tow driver loss the keys to the car so my friends and I determined at night with no keys to the car that it was just a blown water pump. The oil was not milky and we had no way of pulling a plug and cranking it to see if the head gasket blew or not. To the best of our knowledge, the head gasket and head was fine without being able to properly test this. So, the water pump and thermostat were changed. I drove home just fine and then the same engine acting up started to happen again. So, I parked it again. Turned it off and it never turned back on again. It would turn and turn, but, not catch. Then, finally, it would not turn at all. We then pulled a plug and tried cranking and water started spilling out. So, the aluminum head went to the machine shop and was determined to have cracked along with of course the blown head gasket.

Way to go...sorry to hear that.

*UPDATE*
Looking at the Firebird Raceway website it looks like December 6th is SPORT COMPACT night so if everyone can make it that would be perfect.

the reason i said speedway is becaue at the last big meet we decided we should do a speedway meet. that way we can do some legal "racing" and argue about who can drift better(**cough..me**) and who's a better driver(**cough cough...me...cough**)
