goldlines or progress
goldlines or progress
in your opinion, which is the better spring...... progress..... or goldlines.. i'm looking for a 1.75-2.00 inch drop, with a reasonable ride. they are both good rated springs and very reasonably priced, which would you guys choose in my case. thanks for all posts.... especially those who have either springs.... please share all comments..... thanks.

goldlines sit alot lower in the rear than in the front just the same as progress. i have goldlines and i like the drop in the rear but it is a little to high in the front imo. the ride is nice, they are a soft spring, definally not a spring to get if your serious about road racing or nthing. i like em though. for the money they arent bad. my next spring will definally be alot stiffer though.
yea i think i'm really looking for a stiff spring... handling is in my bag baby..... once i get the drop... i'll get the strut bars and sway bars so my car can really handle. i just hope my tires do'nt get shreaded up right away.....

you want to go with neuspeeds for sure... i got ground controls now and eh they're too soft, i miss my neuspeeds.
just a heads up, sports wasnt low enough for me. might want to look at race. i had sports but wanted to go lower so i got the gc... its not stiff enough so i think imma go with race, just hope it doesnt rub with my 18s...

i've heard alot of complaints about the goldline drop. some say the 1st ones are really low in the rear. someone here had goldlines with xenon kit and the sideskirts would actually touch the floor when he had 4 people in the car. to me that just says the springs are way too soft. some even say the 2nd versions are just the opposite, the rear is way too high. someone even said after a year or two the rear was lower than before. this just sounds problematic to me.
with neuspeeds i've probably heard only one or two complaints the whole time i've been on this board.

ya neuspeeds are german. their HQ is based in Cali tho. how they compared to eibach, i personally prefer neuspeeds over eibach. eibachs are softer compared to neuspeeds
so...i was wondering...what rides better...springs or sleeved coilovers....and..when u mean softer...does it equal a better ride over stiff? ^^;;

so if i go with neuspeed sports.... the stiffer spring....is that a more harsh ride??? compared to a softer spring? if i go with a stiff/good handling spring... does that equal a more harsher ride? and if i go with a softer spring,,, say progress or goldline for ex... would that be a better ride? but not as good handling????
