For those of you who have winter where you live, just wondering what parts you change back to stock for the winter. I'm not sure if I should put my SRI back to stock. Probably wouldn't really matter, but maybe it'll extend the life of the intake?
But whatever, just post what you leave on, and what you take off... and possibly why

Good rims off, stock rims on.
Why? At $300 a pop, I'm not running my good ones through the slop, salt and sand. Besides that, I've got summer tires on them... which aren't going to appreciate cold weather, or snow.
Thats it. Leaving the CAI as is... I had 0 problems with it all last winter.
Only other change for the winter is a switch to 0W-30 Oil, but thats a minor thing.

i live in norcal where winter just means slight drizzles with occasional rain, leaving everything on......but then again i have no kit and still have stock rims. yep, bring it on winter, bring it on........
I left my 17s on for last winter. Almost drove like stock in the snow! but I had Sumitomo HTR+ tires (all weather) so I was in pretty good shape.
Now I have 18s that have to be taken off in a month or so. The snow really piles up here, and I don't think my current tires will take it.

I bought my car new and the dealer already had rims on it, so I don't have my stock rims and it sucks. My civic drives worse in the snow than my camaro did. Last winter, I couldn't make it through a stoplight before it turned red cuz my tires spun the whole time. I had a rough winter last year. I went from new tires to bald tires and my rims are all crappy now.
if you leave your body kit or rims on your running the risk of rust, salt and the ever dreaded curb check... i took out a pair (one front one back) set of rims that was about 500 bucks out of my pocket because i slipped in some snow , itsnot worth it, no one races in the snow anyways, id take it off soon because its gonna get hard to work outside soon, at least in chicago it is, id leave the performance stuff on because the cold air is perfect for racing if theres no snow on the ground
