Raced an LS1 SS
well it was a 3 lane, kind of highway...I see in my mirror a newer LS1 SS, so he gets right next to me...goin bout 45-50, and hit....well lets just say the LS1s got too much high end for me...off the line it would be close due to my torque curve...but damn high end that thing was nuts!!!

like they say "LS1 3rd gear pull" because this is where the LS1 simply kills its competitors.
In a race between a Mustang GT and an LS1. The LS1 will slowly pull the GT through 1st and 2nd maybe put a carlength or two. But once it hits 3rd gear it just gets up and goes. LS1 3rd gear is magic....or something like that.

Rep Power: 0 my friend has a SWEET 2002 camaro 35th anv t-top in red with the silver stripes he punks every car he races. he gives cars a head start and then pulls on them like crazy i LOVE LS1's.

Rep Power: 344 Ahh the 35th anv SS, very nice cars i love the race flag stripe they have.
Thats what my friend does to LS1's. They see it as a normal 2001 Mustang GT, not many would assume its packing a T67 turbocharger under the hood.

Rep Power: 0 the thing with ls1's are you dont need a turbo you can get more then 900 hp/tq going n/a they are huge engines. they also take 250 shots of n20 like nothing lol a 50 shot wears down are 1.7 lol

Rep Power: 0 well lt1 engines are more turbo friendly without a doubt both are great engines. o yea got boost you said 2 turbo's lol 1 is more than enough to give you more power vortec has a sc for the ls1 that will give you a total of 475 hp and more tq than hp ls1's are beasts not much technology in them just a HUGE 5.7 thats how i like em lol.
