Fly wins 1st place in ANOTHER car show!!!
Well I just got back from the Down South 1st Annual Car show. I'm proud to say that i took home 1st place in the 96 & up Civic class. The judges really loved the car. They said it was the cleanest car without a kit that they had seen.

One of the NSX's owners is gonna come to the track with me next sunday. He said he wants to race me!!!! I know I will lose but i'm gonna get it on video tape for ya'll!!!
This guy doesn't know **** about his NSX. He wants me to install a CAI for him!!! He also got the car for only $32,000 with 20,000 miles on it!!!
i dont understand.....u have rims, drop, cf hood, and a few other things......u dont even have a kit. i have a kit, exhaust intake header, custom interior full system, custom paint big brakes strobes lighting and all that great stuff and i dont win n e thing whats up with that......congrats tho

Sure there were custom paint jobs, great sound systems(I didn't even have a sound system, my trunk was gutted for track racing), etc out there. There was no street, mild or wild class. All of the 96 & up civics were grouped together. There was a good bit of us out htere. Around 20.
Sounds like some people are in denial that kits aren't everything in a show.
nice job fly, sick car... btw everyone who thinks less, it has to do wit the judges, wat their style is and what they look for, flys car cud look like **** to you and beauty to everyone else... dont b a hater

Rep Power: 0 congrats fly!!! yea, most judges at shows that i've been to say that the most important thing is to have a clean ride, "LITERALLY", cuz you can have all thsi stuff done but your car is dirty as hell, then u won't win a thing! unfortunately for ppl here in the california, the competition is a lot tougher, but i've managed to win 1st place for honda civic as well...it's a hard task, but not impossible!

in cali even with the **** i done to my car i get no looks at all cuz its pretty much a daily driver and you see it daily everywhere on the streets...all those people with the custom body work gets all the trophies and of course their crew name is reputable...sometimes i just want to enter in a small show in another not so competitive state just so i can take home a trophy...hahahaha

yea, i go to the bigger shows, HIN, import expression IREV, i get alot of looks....i even got an interview for option video.......i been on a few website and i have some sponsors....but theres nothing like winning a trophy....
