G35 for me, too. Since you didn't give a model for the Bimmer, I'll assume it's non-M. The RSX-S is way lower than those, the styling of the RX8 is a little iffy to me, the 3-series is a great car, but I don't like the lower models. The G35 just seems nicest to me.

G35 is the best out of those choices though.
i've driven the g35 before, and the handling, response and fit/finish of the car is fantastic. even at base options the car is very well done, and relatively inexpensive. the only complaint i would have is the nav system, but it isn't something you need to get.

G35 sir. obvious choice.
3 series is always a sure bet, but its getting old. *shrug*
rx8 is nice and new.. but overall the g35 stands out...
as for the type s, well.. a honda's a honda. there's pros and cons, but its no where near the luxury level of the G35... althoug the price is quite different too..
if I have the money, a G35 would be what I pick too.. but it gets expensive with the options... (38k ish)

go for the g35, i'm going to get it after the civic.
when you drive one, you become obsessed w/ it, its that good.
the rsx is not really comparable for the price, and the 3 series is too common.

like most of the guys, your choices don't really match up well. BMW can't compete against g35, or atleast the 3 series anyways. Not talking M3 though of course. The RSX is a fun little car, but not close to G35.
So what are you looking for? A luxury sport or a fun little racer like the rx8? If you include the rx8, i agree the 350z should be in this decision. how about the good ol lancer or sti? I like the g35 though...b/c i like the luxury sport.

Well, that being said, I think the car I would choose from this bunch would be the RX-8, even though it is nothing like the RX7's of yore, and it would be much zestier with a turbocharged 13B engine like the FD's had, and some of the FC's. But my absolute dream car would be a Silvia S15 with the SR20DET motor and lots and lots of spare tires....

G35 and RX-8 over RSX-S or CL-S because of rear wheel drive. G35 over RX-8. The G35 is such a great GT coupe. And Mazda is still having problems with those HP claims. And someone before mentioned the exhaust note, sweeeet!
