braking in new tires
just wanted to know when u get new tires what should be done in braking them in, i read about Heating your tires one time on a web page but i can find it agein. but the idea of it was that u graualy heat up your tires when driveing and slowly cool them down a few times after u get them so they stay softer and will not get hard faster as they age. just wanted to know if anyone eless knows about this and tell me.

thats called Heat cycling and is mostly used with race tires...... not really nessisary for street tires, as they are already pretty hard anyway. Maybe if you were runing a set of Falken Azenis or Kumho MXs but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

If your heavy in to compititon you may want to look in to getting the tire shaved too
