KYB . . . but you'll STILL have to cut the fronts and use inserts. . . otherwise you'll spend even more money.

Thanks Honda. . . for integrating the steering linkages into the strut bodies.

Just save up the $600 for the Konis. . . you will NOT be disappointed.

The steering arm integration is NOT part of a Mac Strut. Thats the Honda retardation of it.

Other alternatives to struts... you could fit the spoon EP3 ones ($2750) or the Mugen/Moton ones ($4200). Konis are cheap.

Indeed. . . BM's right. Honda just raised the steering linkage ONTO the strut assembly to help counteract torquesteer. . . not that you get a whole lot of it out of a 127 HP engine.

It's a real pain in the *** to have to disconnect the freaking tierod ends every time you want to take the strut assembly off, though. This is why I've adopted the "leave em be" approach when lowering a car on stock shocks.

Where did you hear that? I've been under the assumption that KYB is shooting for a full strut replacement for the front.

Indeed. . . but I highly doubt it'll happen. There's just too much hardware to replace. At best, they'll probably end up being $200+ per side for the fronts. . . most likely about $250. And I'm talking internet pricing.

Otherwise, they'll probably just say "screw it" and make inserts. Right now they're losing a good deal of money to Knoi's solution, and I doubt they like that.
