i emailed comptech asking about 01+civic parts and this is what i got:

" Unfortunately, we don't offer any performance parts for the '01 Civic + coupes and sedans. We do offer a rear swaybar/tiebar combo available that will work on your Civic as long as your car comes stock with one. That would be about it from us. We don't plan on offering anything else at this time due to low demand. Thanks.

the engine setup on the rsx/si is too different from the regular coupes and sedans.. however, some suspension things that fit the rsx work on our 7thgen coupes and sedans.

all suspention stuff will fit, some with minor modification. of course the engine stuff doesn't work, unless you have a rsx engine

yea suspension parts should work on 7thgen civic as well. i want icebox and comptech exhaust for my car. i just cant... afford them

our cars are still too new, just wait a couple of yrs or so and they will start making alot more stuff, like superchargers and anything else.

our cars have had plenty of time for companies to make parts for us face it guys its not going to happen and if Jackson racing does one day put out something like people keep saying expect like 60 hp for a few grand.

that is what most superchargers and turbos offer right now, about 60 more hp, then you just increase your boost.

I don't know about that. Look at the RSX... the car has only been available since '02 and they already have about 1000 more aftermarket products then they do our cars.

well, because they look at the demographics.. most of the "tuner" guys are gonna buy an rsx or an si, because they offer a better starting platform than a puny single cam engine...
besides.. the k series engine has been out since 01.. thats when they released the new crv... so of couse they had time to tinker with that...

For every "tuned" RSX, I see about 10 "tuned" Civics. Just because the RSX has more power potential it doesn't mean that a header or exhaust made by Comptech, available for Civics, won't sell as much or more then they will for RSX's.

There's more aftermarket product demand for Civic owners then RSX owners in North America. The Civic is one of the Top 5 most sold cars in North America

The first available K series engine wasn't in the CRV... it was the RSX. The CRV didn't get the K series engine until 2002. Plus the CRV get's the 2.4L i-VTEC engine which is not the same as the 2.0L i-VTEC.
