This thing is pretty sweet!! I bought it off a member off this site (ohmysac) for $125 shipped. No scratches, used for 8K miles, but pretty rusty where the welds are... Nothing wrong with the muffler itself. I've noticed a few improvements on my car, such as:
1) Daily driven, the car is A LOT less restrictive, very free flow now...
2) The RPMs climb up faster
3) On a full tank of gas, I got 340 miles (10gallons = 340 mpg). My car is stock and the max I've gotten is 32mpg, and thats on a good day. I usually average about 30-30.5 mpg. So when I saw that I got 34, I was really surprised...
The only wierd thing is that my RPMs do climb higher, but my speed is lower. I used to reach 3000 rpm and be at exactly 20mph. Now I'm at 3K+ and I'm not even at 20mph yet. Anybody know wussup? Other than that the exhaust sounds nice, not too loud... I couldn't imagine anything louder than that or else I'd go crazy.

I dunno tho.
I'm actually really interested to see what's going on.
interesting ... 3000 rpm in 1st gear and you hit 20 mph?...
here are my speeds at 3k rpm:
1 - 15
2 - 26
3 - 38
4 - 49
5 - 61 (?? ... I don't remember)
my speeds at 7000 rpm:
1 - 34
2 - 58
3 - 89
4 - ? (somewhere over 105)
5 - ?

Yeah, I checked again today and at 3300-3500 RPM I'm barely at 20mph. I used to hit 3000 and be exactly at 20mph. Its wierd, but doesn't really bother me. I just notice that its a big change in the characteristics of my car, just by adding an axle-back. Apparently its better, since I'm getting better gas mileage. I'll wait until my current tank hits empty again, then I'll be certain whether its the exhaust or not. Another wierd thing is that right after I got my exhaust I was driving more aggressively (taking it up to 6800 rpm, downshifting on the freeway), and I still got better gas mileage. Maybe shifting at higher rpms is the solution to gas mileage, as opposed to how I used to drive "like a grandpa."
Also, I have 205/40/17, and since the diameter is slightly smaller than the stock wheels, the speedometer isn't totally correct. For example it may say I'm doing 20mph, but since my wheels spin faster, I'm probably only doing about 18mph...

Yeah, the angle is really convenient... Although my car isn't THAT lowered, I still have a tendency to scrape in some places, so there is already an advantage of the muffler being angled. If I don't think I'll make it over the speedbump or dip or whatever, I'll just turn to the left and go over it sideways. I've nipped the bottom twice only b/c I wasn't used to driving with it yet.

There really is no way for your RPMS to be at a different speed then they were before, unless...
1.) Your clutch is slipping, which means that you need to get a new clutch plate.
2.) You changed your wheels at the same time you changed your exaust...
Besides those 2, there's NO WAY, for your RPMS to be at a higher or lower amount then they were before. It's physically impossible.

I'm gonna have to agree with Renamazazo. Your RPM and speed is a mechanical function. Airflow and such does not affect it. Wheel size would affect it, as would changing the gearing of your car.

Last I checked we had a 12 gallon tank at least the LX does, and I regularly get 400+ miles on a tank.

Man that sucks sorry to hear that. I dont know if my 18" wheels and intake make much of a difference. I use regular 87 octane gas too.

Well our tanks can hold 13.7 gallons. However, your gas light must come on at around 10-11 gallons, so people wont drive until the last drip of gas... You have 18"s and and intake and you're pulling 400+??? dayam, what kind of stuff is your car smoking and let my car puff some!!! haha
