Road Raged Man Crashed Into My Civic @ A Stop Sign... (Long Story) w/pics of damage Here is what happened to me last night... Sorry for its length but, if you read it how I wrote it, you will hopefully see what my gf and I went through last night.
Last night was a really great night for me… I got to meet my gf’s uncle who owns a huge investing corporation… So, I got to drive around in his new BMW 7 Series 760Li and got offered to ride in his Ferrari 360 Modena (Whenever I want
lease: ). At the end of the night he mentions to me, “You are a great kid, if you need anything and, I mean anything let me know”… I leave his beautiful BMW, and I get into my civic with my gf, and he says, “Take very good care of my niece, she is very important to me”.
That was the best part of the night… Now, the bad part…
Picture yourself driving at night around 10pm… Very clear sky, only thing is its like 40 degrees out (cold). And you are driving down a straight road…
You are behind a car going 30mph (the speed limit)
The car in front of you SWERVES EXTREMELY into the right shoulder & then into a grass area…
You move to the left to because of a natural instinct. (You don’t want to go near the car that swerved
You then look in the mirror, and see the exact same car 2 inches away from the rear of your car (tailgating), with its High-Beams on
The car then goes into the left lane (on coming traffic lane), and paces you… You slow down, He slows down… You speed up, He speeds up.
There is a fork in the road with a stop sign ahead, and there is on coming traffic…
You start to slow down because there is a stop sign, and if you DON’T stop, a car will hit you from the left…
You stop at the stop sign BUT, the guy on the left of you pacing you… Slams into your cars left fender.
This is what happened to me and my gf last night…
The man then gets out of the car, and starts screaming violently (Very loud). And insists that I’ am drunk, and that I don’t know how to drive. I immediately lock the door because I’ am scared, and I don’t want anything to happen to me or to my gf. He actually pulls over around 10 feet in front of my car and calls the cops…
Now… Since my gf’s uncle is close to her house, I didn’t fill the gas tank… And it was almost empty. Because of this, I had to have the engine and heat off, Otherwise I WOULD have ran out of gas. So, I give my gf my jacket so she’s fine but then, Im wearing just a dress up shirt in the ****ing freezing cold weather.
Before the cops came, the man was running back and forth in circles… Examining his car, and mine, while screaming. The cops took literally 30 minutes to get to the scene. The cop goes to the man (ADULT FIRST), and then comes to me and says… “I’ am going to give you a breathalyzer test. The man suggested you take this”
WTF?!? Now, As Im taking this test, the man is talking to the cop, saying “Officer, I have no problem taking this test, I admit I did drink but, that was in the morning” The officer did give the man a test, and we both passed (meaning we were both allowed to drive, legally)
The officer asks for my side of the story, I give him it, and of COURSE both of the stories are different… NO KIDDING?!? I told the officer about him and his road rage... But seeing how he wasnt a wittness... We BOTH had road rage?!?
But, the officer believed mine 110% over his, mainly because of how everything looks, and how you picture it… The guy told the cop that I was swerving all over the road behind him, and hi beaming him”
Now, its up to the insurance companies to decide… My mom told me this morning that, since the officer believed my story more, and he talked to my mom more about it… And she told me that my car will be fixed through the guys insurance company…

I didnt bother doing anything...
1) The guy is insane
2) I now know where he lives (Cause of that exchange information thing) Me, and a couple of friends are going to give him a visit in a couple of weeks

My dad got into an accident driving my vic home from the dealeriship an less than one hour of getting the car. Stuff like this just happens. It's unfair, but homefully insurance will help you out.

On the other hand, I would of got out knowing it was his fault, and said hello in a non friendly way, and when the officer showed up, I would of said "Me must of hit his steering wheel officer."
