well, I have your exact setup. I applied it on all the joints, meaning all points that have metal connecting to something. Mainly where both cables connected to the Revo SS. And another thing, you are going to be so surprised how much tighter of a shift pattern you have with minimum movement, it is like night and day. It really surprised me, thanks Grey, Cap Yoda, & Rob!!!

any moving joints should be applied to.
I usualy reapply every time I get an oil change or tire rotation...
unless you have long lasting grease.. that is.
makes it a lot smoother..
I duno when u order, but I've shipped them all out monday night.. so you'll probably be one of them that gets it this thursday or friday.

greys kit comes with a new coter pin and new eclip and a few other things to tighten things up and cap yodas kit has new metal bushings instead of the stock plastic ones. search the site, there is tons of info on them.
and ya cap yoda, you emailed me and said you sent my kit out.
cant wait, so excited!

I've got the cap's kit and it helped the flexing of my stock shifter dramatically. When I get a Revo or other SS I will more than likely purchase Grey's kit just to get the most out of my shifter.

whether they work or not, which i believe they will due to the fact that they are a much beter part than the stock part, im just glad i now have a short shifter. and the kits were only a total of 22 bucks so if they dont make a difference, then no big loss, but im usre they will.
oh ya, i got my short shifter for 87 shipped from a seller on ebay, brand new.

hey if you dont feel any difference or dont like it, I dont mind refunding you minus the shipping and handling.
its in my sales terms. cost a few bucks to try it.
I understand it doesn't change any feel for some people, some people really feel it.. some dont.
the people that feel it are the ones that slam their gears a lot. if you shift slowly and smoothly, u probably wont notice any difference.
I can guaranteed that you can SEE the difference though.
a hard shift between the stock bushings and the aluminum bushing is clear.. the assembly doesn't budge with the aluminum bushings.

I'm very glad I got capyodas kit, as well as greys kit, before, everytime i shifted, there was this freaking clicking noise that was driving me insane, installed both kits, and everything feels much tighter and there is less play in the shifter, I'd like to thank you both again, Grey and Capyoda for their time spent making these upgrades.

Capyoda's kit really worked for me because since my car has been through so much hell and the fact that it was an 01 the stock rubber bushings were pretty tired. The aluminum bushings tightened up the flex alot and I highly recommend this kit for anyone that shifts hard regularly.
4bangin...I have installed the kit before...if you want any help PM me. I live in pittsburghl and work in cranberry (I think I remember saying your out that way) As for the upgade Kits...Greys deff helped. Capyodas looks cool but I don't shift hard enough to notice a difference. But for the low price he sells them at, ad the fact I'm buying from a fellow 7thgenner, I don't mind.
