Well, I think I finally have my system up to par. I got my crossover installed and everything sounding good (except for some hiss ). Anywayz, my friend who was an installer is encouraging me to enter in some competitions. I was looking for an SPL and maybe an SQ (still have to work on the SQ, but the crossover helps alot). Anyone know of any local ones coming up?

I think I would be in the 301-600 watt class, because my amps would put out exactly 600 watts if they were run at 4 ohms...is that right??

Anywayz, let me know of any amatuer contests that I can enter.

Yup, I have them crossovered at 80 hrtz now with a 24 per octive x-over. I have them tuned to 22 hrtz, but if I enter SPL I may have to tune to 35 hrtz.

Yeah, I saw that Chula Vista Event....hmmm, maybe I need to stop at Al & Eds and sign up.
I will only enter if I get some 7th gen love there...so hopefully some people will be at that show if I enter.

man, I was just reading the rules...and I may get slammed!!! I may to try the SQ instead of SPL. I need to figure out what all the rules are.

SPL is your bass db reading. it's like 40 bucks or so to compete too. 3 different classes in SPL (stock 1, 2, 3), i think you'd fall into stock 3.
