My car has backfired twice this week. I have an AEM SRI. This is how it has happened.
I'll hammer the gas pedal almost to the floor then let it up. This is done quickly, just to rev the engine. I cannot re-create this problem every time, it only has happened twice this week. Vehicle is a DX 2001. I have no clue what causes this, and the dealership has told me that since the engine light is not on, it would be hard to pinpoint what could be the problem. If anyone might know what could cause this PLEASE let me know. Or if you need anymore information please feel free to ask.
Thanks!
