To answer his question (bc maybe he already got the nitrous or is going to). The header would help, and so would exhaust. SInce you are forcing things out faster, it is better for them to flow more fluid and with less restriction

Nitrous is completely safe on ANY engine as long as it is used correctly. There is no extra wear and tear on an engine if the nitrous is working correctly. Even with all the D17 bashing i do, the engine has proven itself to be quite an improvement over the D16. Honda did their research when they created the D17. The intake, header, and exhaust systems were created perfectly to extract power from the engine. With a turbo, the D17 makes a good amount of power and torque.
Hey cambo STFU, j/k j/k j/k j/k dont get mad...ok I do agree that the D17 is abit of improvement from the D16 and can give out pretty good power with the right tunning, but to what amount can it handle? Since I am looking towards swapping mine with the K20, I have had no interest to look at how well this engine can perform. If the D17 can produce at least over 260hp without nitrous, I would gladly tune mine next year.
