Short Air Intake

hi, everyone, i just want to ask that what's the different between the short air intake and the long cold air intake, thx

With a short ram the air filter is positioned within the engine bay, and with a cold air intake the filter is positioned outside of the engine bay so it can suck in colder denser air. Just for future referece I suggest you use the search button above before posting a thread like this again, since this qustion and every other question about intakes have been beaten to death so many times that very few people actually respond to them. I say you do what im doing...i bought a SRI and a weapon R ram air kit.......pretty much all it is is flexible tubing and a scoop to be mounted in the front bumper to get cold air and a bonus of some ram air. \/ link
