Need help correcting timing

Ok, so I got my head milled yesterday, replaced the headgasket and put everything back together. I made marks on the cam gear and timing belt and lined them both back up but now for some reason my timing is way off.

At idle, the car will start at low rpm, then rev, then drop, then rev, then drop, etc.

I have no idea how to get the timing corrected or where to even start.

Any ideas?

Holy crap I'm glad I didn't depend on this website for help, lol. I figured out it was just a vacuum leak and took care of it.
