i know the bag would work.. WHY wouldnt it? air bags are air bags.. and even IF the connectors are different.. ill just cut the one off the OEM wheel and put it on that one.. Im not worried about the bag. it will work. im worried about it fitting.
Hmm. Try to see if anyone took their OEM wheel off for an aftermarket. MAybe they can snap a pic of the back of it to get an idea of where things line up.
haha you better be sure you're right about that air bag or when you hook that thing up, BOOM, and youre new wheel is done.

sooooooo not true... u obviously no nothing about the srs system.. the air bag will not deploy...its impossible.. if i were to take a hammer to our oem wheel and start bashing it .. it still wouldnt deploy... the srs is well designed... only to deploy when the speed sensors detect an amazin amount of impact.. there are gyro's or something that detect crashes and sensors in the front and rear bumpers that deploy when the crunch zones are hit.. but only if your traveling like over 15 mph
looking at the oem wheel wont make a difference..
all i need to know if the steering wheel shaft will go into the wheel and bolt up thats all IM ASKING.. WILL THE WHEEL FIT.
anyone know
yea i dont know. Well, how different do you think it is from the Type-R or Si wheel, cause that fits. So I'd imagine any Honda built automobile from around the same time-frame would fit.
Also, I'm not wrong, what-so-ever. A short circuit in the SRS system will absolutely, positively, make the bag go off. If you don't believe me, go ask any "SRS specialist", or any mechanic for that matter. Maybe you're right in the case of hondas, but the bags in my sister's/brother-in-law's saab convertivle deployed when a mechanic attempted to trouble shoot a blinking SRS light.
But anyway, I dont know anyone who put an integra wheel in a 7th gen, so be the first and let everyone know how it goes, I get the impression it will fit.

lol damn... well honestly.. thanks for ur timely responses and help... but it looks like we have the same knowledge on weither they'll fit or not.. but im guessin that if the type R fits... that this will to.. because they are extremly similar and im pretty sure they're interchangeble... i just wanted second opinions from the site.. i mean worse comes to worse ill just get a momo.. but JDM is soo much nicer... and damn.. thats pretty messed up that the airbag deployd in the saab... what year what it ne way? cause i know they have redesigned the systems several times to perfect it ...
and woo if im the first one .. then ill be majorly happy.

Forget that wheel and just go with the MOMO. That one will fit with no problems. Yeah JDM is hella cool, but that silver MOMO wheels is so much tighter. I uploaded my Sig to the 7gen site. It looks mad blurry.

True, statistics show that seatbelts save lives but when it's your time to go it's your time to go, seatbelt or no seatbelt.

Someone posted a pic a while back of a Momo wheel that looked like the one in the new Evo's. It was pretty sweet. And frankly, I hate air bags. They hurt people more than they help. I jsut always wear my seatbelt.
Also, it was a '91 saab 900 turbo convert. the older body style.
