Probs w/front wheel well liner

Alrighty, I got my '03 coupe two months ago and have had problems with the front wheel well liner . . when I took delivery of my car, I had the dealership remove the splashguards because I thought they were hideous. They were supposed to get me a car without the splashguards but every car they had coming in had them installed. Well anyways, they even replaced the rear bumper cover (the original had holes left over from the bolts for the splashguards) for me because they couldn't get me the exact car I wanted. Well, the part of the wheel well lining that the bolts go through started to crack from where the bolt goes through outwards towards the outside edge. I've had to replace the front right wheel well lining three times now, even told the dealer to watch how much they torque the bolt, to be careful about not making it too tight . . my question is, is the cracking a normal wear and tear problem, or does my dealership just suck? Thanks for the help!
