Rep Power: 0 okay that Evo driver does not know how to drive. There is not enough wheel spin on the part of the neon driver for the neon to be that fast. I imagine its a fairly fast neon. But it pulls on that evo as if it were a stock Civic Si. Also, the evo didnt pull very hard from a dig.

Rep Power: 0 EVOs aren't that fast, ESPECIALLY if you don't know how to drive- last time I went to the track there was some kid with a new EVO all happy thinking he was the ****- well, his best time of the day was a 14.0! My best was a 13.2- that shut him up pretty damn quick.

Rep Power: 0 Yep, agree with everyone else. Horrible, horrible driving. The way the SRT-4 pulls him on a roll, and off the line the first time, I think my stock 7th gen could've taken him. Well, not really, but the point stands. This vid proves nothing, except that SRT-4 drivers seem desperate to prove their cars are faster than everything on 4 wheels.... 
lease: Not that they aren't fast, because they are, but I have never seen a particular car's group of owners try so hard to show everyone their car is the best thing since sliced Wonderbread.

Rep Power: 0 I know the srt-4 in that video has the Exhaust Depot exhaust, with no cat and race pipe. It's supposed to give like 30 hp i think? It probably also has a stage 1 kit, which pumps it up to 240hp and 260 torque. i think its possible. just my opinion tho.

Rep Power: 302 This video is pretty shady...I really thought evos were faster. The srt pulled on him soo much harder than he should have. Obviously the evo driver sucks but maybe the srt had a little more done to it then we think it did....the only thing that I can think of doing pulling like that would be spray...

Rep Power: 0 SRT-4's are fast....and 10thousand less dollars. Perhaps the EVO driver wasn't the best, but, an SRT-4 with those mods will indeed give an EVO a run for it's money. The best time out of a stock SRT i've seen has been a 13.7.....

From a roll, the evo should've AT LEAST kept up to the bumper by just shifting at redline because evos aren't THAT fast from a roll as apposed to a stop, it seemed liked he was in one gear the entire time.

it doesn't matter..if the srt-4 is only slighty modded then it should not have walked on that evo so bad even if the driver is bad....u can not get whooped from a roll that bad...all u gotta do is mash the gas from a roll and shift at the red line...i think it was staged..

great minds think alike my friend.......its just a weird video becuase from the stand still starts they are dead even through first gear and then once they hit second the srt freaking owns that evo....

I think people are mis-analyzing the abilities of both cars.
Lets look at the facts.
A Stock EVO 7.5/8 does mid 13s... we'll say 13.5.
A Stock SRT-4 can do 14 flat.
With there being a .5 second difference on the average an EVO won't "bury" an SRT-4. Think about it, a .5 second difference is like a Civic Si vs. a Civic EX. The Si won't "bury" the EX if the EX has a better driver as there are plenty of people in lowly EXs/LXs, etc who have beat crappy drivers in Si hatchcraps.
EDIT: I bet the dummy in the EVO dumped the clutch.

I suspect they bribed the EVO for more than a simple race with more than just gas money. Sounds like a stock SRT-4 to me.
